| Content: | Frank Kelly, CEO, has spent over 20 years in the construction industry managing projects as diverse as major civil engineering projects to house building. His focus on value engineering has given him a passion for this new sector. It is the aim to develop the next generation flood protection products and then to deliver them to a global market. Research and development are vital sector and UK Flood Barriers have invested heavily to develop a research and testing centre in Worcestershire which puts UK Flood Barriers at the forefront of innovation. A new sector brings with it new challenges, but the company has an outstanding team, striving for excellence, searching for and implementing innovation, working with a passion and determination to continuously improve. Patricia Freshwater, Commercial Director My career has focused on the commercial development of high growth businesses both in the UK and internationally, but the emergence of the flood defence sector represents the most challenging opportunity as we position ourselves globally as the leading supplier of innovative flood defence products. | Duncan Sucliffe, Sutcliffe Insurance Duncan is a 4th generation insurance broker, born and raised in Worcester. In his time as a broker he has been asked to insure all manner of weird and wonderful things, including an adult film production company, a wind turbine in a graveyard and a running race from John O' Groats to Lands End. Stewart Glazzard is a senior commercial account executive with Sutcliffe & Co. With over 30 years experience as an Insurance Broker, he has full understanding of the challenges and demands of the Construction industry and is conversant with their activities, contracts and varying Insurance requirements. |
