Membership
HAWCE is a voluntary funded not-for-profit organisation which receives no funding from industry or Constructing Excellence and thus relies on membership and sponsorship for its lifeline.
There are many benefits of being a member, such as networking in construction, in an easy atmosphere, enjoying the social side of the events, seeking help for yourself or your organisation and meet people who can help you, contributing to local procurement, introducing colleagues, customers and suppliers to new opportunities and to add value to your business.
In our first year, 2010, we provided events free of charge, as we received adequate grants and sponsorship. We have now introduced optional annual membership subscriptions, which are deliberately kept low so we are open and accessible to all within the industry.
Our current annual membership fees, which run from 1st January to 31st December are as follows:-
• Individual Annual Membership: £40
• Corporate Annual Membership (up to 4 persons/event): £120
• Student Annual Membership (in full time education): Free
If you don’t wish to take out a membership, you can pay the following "on the door" entry fee for each event you wish to attend:-
• "On the Door" Entry Fee: £10
• "On the Door" Entry Fee for Students and the Unemployed: Free
All fees are exclusive of VAT as HAWCE is not a VAT registered business.
